Fall 2021 Church Survey

Preamble

It’s expected that sometime very soon Nova Scotia will enter phase 5 of the Covid reopening plan. The provincial government has indicated that this will mean a complete lifting of mandatory restrictions, leaving the guidelines up to each business and organization to set for themselves. Churches are considered “essential” and thus excluded from the proof-of-vaccination policy (vaccine passports).

Since the beginning of the pandemic, we have trusted and followed the recommendations from NS Public Health. Nova Scotia is managing covid well, in large part because of the strong leadership at this department. We will continue to follow the advice of Public Health as we move forward.

We have also been advised from the CBAC to take a cautious approach, staying “one step behind” the government in terms of loosening restrictions.

As we discern how to proceed, we are seeking the input of our congregants. Results of the survey won’t dictate our final decisions, but your feedback will help guide our conversation and give us a clearer picture of your needs, concerns, and wishes at this time.

Would you take a moment and share your thoughts on these question? Your responses are anonymous, so please answer as honestly as possible. If opinions differ in your household, please complete a separate survey for each member. THANK YOU.
